This one-of-a-kind shell has a cool-white almost gray background with dark stripes that spiral across its surface and in between the dark stripes is a blue-gray shading… this shell is hard to describe but really cool and beautiful to see. The shell is paired with small sparkly faceted silver and clear glass beads, and two larger beads with a silvery mirror-like finish, to complement the subtle colors of the shell.Â
When hung in a window, shells can get a glow from light shining through the back of the shell, and beads play with the light – reflecting, sparkling, glinting, brightening – depending on the light and the type of bead.
This seashell was found on a gorgeous beach on the Salish Sea coast of the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state. The shell is hand-drilled and carefully transformed into a charm for a simple and natural everyday delight, or a holiday treat for your tree.
