Kimono style jacket in pink and white

Boxy med kimono style quilt coat. side pockets. 

jacket measures approx:
52” bust
52” hips
Collar  to edge sleeve (allows for cuff) 29”
shoulder to bottom front 29”
sleeve depth at shoulder 10” at cuff 13"

Repurposed cotton quilt w/ modern poly batting. Machine cold water wash. Line dry or dry low. No dry cleaning. 

A beautiful lightweight but warm, hand stitched patchwork quilt pattern makes this remade chore jacket a reminiscent and cozy coat to wear.   Being wrapped in these warm cozy colors gives you that quilt feel as you go out. Light maroon and country white coordinated on the patchwork side while the lining is a  flat white.  Quilt is handmade with original artist label on the inside front panel!  

Side pockets are an easy level to put your hands in when chilly or to hold your keys.  Button closure for jacket.  

Sleeves are long enough (20") and double seamed so they can be turned back giving a contrast cuff.  All seams are sewn to hide raw edges and give a smooth finish with no bulk.   Pocket seams are finished with raw machine stitching.  Side seams are covered with handmade bias from upcycled cotton fabric.

Solid construction. This quilt is in excellent condition. The cotton material shows great integrity with little wear noted.  As with vintage quilts, stitching and cloth can thin with washing and use. No wear noted.  One small stain on the left shoulder, successfully removed (see photo with thumb holding shoulder) . Close up phot with thumb and distant photo.  

Modeled on a small model.  Your new quilted chic cottage core coat will be inspected, packaged in a recycled or recyclable mailer and mailed the next business day.
