2024 Mother's Day Sale! Take 20% off, now through May 3! This short, slim and eye-catching necklace was inspired by the beads themselves - in particular, the unusual silver beads. It's hard to capture in photos, but these beads offer a wonderful mix of complexity, daintiness, and tactile pleasure, and the coral beads balance them with simplicity and color. The necklace will add a special touch to an everyday outfit, and it's bold and red enough for holidays too. 

* The necklace is only 3mm wide (less than 1/8 inch). 
* Its adjustable length is 16.5 - 18 inches (42 cm - 45.7 cm).
* The silver beads are from the silversmiths of the Karen hill tribe of Thailand. They're intricately hand-wrapped, textured with tiny sun stamps, and lightly oxidized. They're made of fine silver, with 97% pure silver content (sterling silver is only 92.5% pure silver). A nice thing about fine silver: because of its purity, it's slow to tarnish!
* The red beads are made of bamboo coral. Bamboo coral has been treated as a gemstone for thousands of years. It's one of the few gems that is truly organic, produced by living creatures. Not to be confused with precious coral, an endangered species in some areas, bamboo coral is a deep-sea formation--the skeleton of colonies of tiny invertebrates. For healers, bamboo coral is a stone of building and developing, whether the body, relationships, or support networks.
