These striking earrings are made of sterling silver precious metal clay with a 24k gold overlay. Sterling silver precious metal clay is made from reclaimed silver. Once kiln-fired, it has a slightly higher silver content at 96% than traditional sterling. After the pieces were kiln-fired, I applied highlights of 24k gold using a Korean practice call Keum Boo.
Each earring is accented by dangles of 14k gold-filled beads. These earrings hang approximately one inch from gold-filled earwires and are 3/4" wide.
