I created 3 short sections of amethyst beads to make the central portion of this necklace. I surrounded a medium purple, oblong amethyst bead with similarly colored 6 mm and 4 mm spherical amethyst beads. For the shorter side sections, I used 7 mm light purple amethyst spheres bracketed by dark purple, 4 mm amethyst spheres.
The three sections stretch out to 3 1/4 inches in length. I attached 2mm stainless steel cable chain to the outside ends of the connected sections and finished off the chain with a jewelry tab and lobster clasp. The total necklace length is about 17 5/8 inches. All findings are stainless steel.
