             My Story             Established in 1984      My venture began as a hobby in my teens, under the tutelage of a pottery artist.  Never crazy about the feel of clay on my hands, I eventually found myself experimenting with concrete.         Sculpting, testing mixes, and mold making.         The only thing missing was color. Color invigorates, expresses and speaks to us with a sincerity of none other. My love of dogs seems to have won, and finds me talking to your fur kids while I'm painting      My product is of the custom nature.   I call it Mini-Me painting.  My work gracing and adored on many mantels, bookshelves and end tables, as well as outdoor memory gardens, and grave markers. I support a few local rescues with my work.... More

I make these designs to help people connect without defaulting to the bland, saccharine stationery available in most big box stores. Flip through my eerie, witchy illustrations and see if there's something that reminds you of someone you'd like to get in touch with. I also make comics, sell original paintings, and offer a made-to-order, good-natured "prank" called art confetti which is an incredibly fun, non-annoying version of a glitter bomb ❥

Welcome, we are a family run shop based in the Pacific Northwest.  We specialize in one of a kind (bespoke), functional designs. We primarily use PLA which is a corn starch based plastic that is more eco friendly and will compost. Follow us on mastadon @Imakethingsforu@mastodon.social I do take design requests at times. We sell custom blend tea based on the Major Arcana of Tarot as well as stickers, prayer candles for our Totally-Not-a-Cult Cult, as well as spell kits and smudge sticks! All ingredients for our teas are outsourced from sellers that are verified to be fair trade and organic.

Meet Emily, the talented hands behind Fluxweed Artisan Jewelry. Emily is obsessed with metal smithing and stone setting, and runs her small handmade jewelry business, Fluxweed Artisan Jewelry, from  Portland, OR. Emily has a life-long passion for art and making "all the things." You name it, she has probably tried to make it. She studied painting and printmaking at the Pacific Northwest College of Art, where she fueled her love for working with different materials and experimenting with different mediums. It wasn't until long after art school that Emily discovered her true calling in the form of metal smithing and jewelry making. Emaloe's Thingys was started by Jennifer Vyenielo, an artist, cat lover, and mental health advocate.    Jennifer is a neurodivergent artist creating playful, colorful pieces that celebrate the beauty of being a little different. Her studio is where she unmasks, unmutes, and makes things that feel joyful, soothing, and just plain fun to hold, wear, or hang in a sunny window. Everything here is handmade in small batches—from rainbow-slinging suncatchers to lightweight statement earrings—all designed with love, color, and a pinch of weird. My hand crafted jewelry contains an eclectic range of materials including gemstones, crystal, glass, brass, repurposed materials, wood, freshwater pearls, and feathers. I enjoy creating a wide range of styles and custom work is encouraged. The components for each creation are chosen for their individual beauty and combined appeal. Photographic art of nature in all of its original splendor or digitally altered for a totally new look is also found in my offerings. These images are available matted in a variety of sizes or gallery wrapped canvases for your wall as well as on note cards and bookmarks. Custom work is also available in this area.
