My processes are informed by sustainability and my products tend towards the practical and the whimsical. I work with textiles, fibers, jewelry, and found objects with the ultimate goal of making the world cuter, weirder, and more sustainable, one day at a time. Handmade in Lakewood, Colorado. To see past work and meet the Pear Cat, visit me on IG! We can be found at: @pearcatco.
Hello! I'm a wildlife photographer in Alberta, Canada. With easy access to Rockies, badlands, rolling foothills, and open skies, nature is my playground. I also travel to other parts of the globe when I can, to capture the beauty of the wider world as well. My work emphasizes colour, line, and texture to share a perspective of the world that viewers may not have considered. My detail-oriented, down-to-earth personality comes through in my work; my images are bright and warm, inviting and true. I live in awe of the world around me; it’s an honor to be able to capture even a glimpse of its beauty in an image that lasts long after the moment is gone.
Olivia keeps making things. This shop is a way to share them and make a little money since we're living in a capitalist society.
Subjects often include (but are not limited to) animals (cats! chickens! toads!), flowers, bugs, fruits & veggies, the macabre, & the celestial. A lifelong, inexplicable predilection for unexpected cursing & wit often appears, too. Each piece is a unique bit of of original art - you can feel the materials used to make them! While block print blocks can be reused, no exact pressing can be reproduced. In an age of mass reproductions, something made by a real, (sort of) normal person can bring a touch of humanity and light into your world. Thanks for supporting an artist and this new, thoughtful online marketplace :) More
Hi! I'm Saelie (/say/-lee) and I enjoy hand-making journals for neurodivergent (neurospicy!) people like me. My goal? To make sure every neurodivergent person has a place to feel welcome, be themselves, and enjoy the community.
I hoard journals, notebooks, planners, pens....all the colored pens... and a dragon needs to be aware that when space runs out to hold all their shinies, they really need to share with others. So that's how Pug and Paper was born! Why a pug though? Because one of my kids is absolutely enamored by pugs and we finally were able to adopt one for him from a foster. Her name is Rosie, but I call her Gerblin (see, the dragon thing still fits...remember, I'm neurospicy, it just makes sense). More
I have been knitting many years, particularly loving lace and cables. While I occasionally design a piece, I enjoy supporting the variety of folks who produce wonderful patterns. I work with a variety of fibers, including synthetic, very rarely cotton, mostly wools and wool blends. When I became chronically ill and disabled I also learned to spin yarn, so there may be rare occasions some yarn or something available in my hand spun is posted. Cats in home.
I take commissions, so if you have something you would like, contact me!
I cannot guarantee how long the USPS will take to get your package to you, so if you really want to get it by Christmas, I strongly suggest ordering so I can get it out the first week of December.
As an artist living with ASD, Emery takes pride in the diversity, divergence, and uniqueness that each piece embodies. Their ceramics reflect a spectrum of emotions, styles, and colors, creating a collection that is ever-evolving. Every item tells a story, not just of craftsmanship but of the unique perspectives and talents of artists living with autism. The result is a collection of handmade ceramics that is not only visually stunning but also carries the heartfelt energy of their creator. Emery brings a unique thought process and approach to ceramics, often marrying styles with original thinking and product experimentation.
You're invited to explore neurodivergent creativity and all it has to offer! Every purchase not only adds a touch of handmade beauty to your life but also supports the dispelling of the myth that people living with autism aren't creative and that they can embody the talents and dreams of a community that thrives on creativity. Discover the divergent and embrace art diversity.... More
