Lemonescence
Lemonescence Jewelry is a one-person operation. I am a big nerd who really enjoys quirky, kitschy, and geeky things, so a lot of my jewelry leans that way as well. The jewelry that I like to wear most often is cute and plastic, so that's what I make! (I might be known to occasionally lose or break things, so a lower price point makes that a less devastating experience for me.) I snap up random charms that speak to me wherever I find them, both locally and online, and supplement them with beads I have acquired from an even more extensive variety of places. A lot of my supplies are from broken jewelry (think thrift stores, antique stores, ebay, donated from friends and acquaintances) that I've taken apart to reuse, but I also buy a lot of high-quality beads locally and from reputable sources online. On occasion I will make something a little bit fancier.
There are plenty of things I make that I am confident in, but I'm also still learning and love to try new things. When I'm in an experimental phase, I might post things that aren't quite up to my own standards, but that I hope will find someone who will be able to use them. I also don't like to throw away the imperfect charms I find. In those cases, I will post the items at an even lower price point than I normally would. If you are interested in any of these items and you are buying a regular item, feel free to reach out to me; in some cases I may be able to bundle them together for you with a discount on the... let's call it "substandard" item.
Most of my shipping materials are reused, recyclable, or compostable. However, this does mean that my shipping does not look particularly polished at times. If you are purchasing the item as a gift and prefer it to look a little more professional, check the gift wrapping options or send me a message and let me know! I do have the ability to package things up in a more refined way, and am happy to do so if that's what you prefer.
A little more about me: I am Native American (Miami of Indiana), and on the Ace spectrum.
